road rage

A recent term coined to refer to violence associated with the anger and stress generated by unbearable traffic conditions. It involves incidents that cause one driver to aggressively pursue, shoot at, collide with or otherwise insult or abuse another vehicle, person or object. Such losses are often intentional and may be considered serious over reactions to an overall increase in rude and/or aggressive driving practices.
